 The Sedona International Film Festival & Workshop celebrates more than a decade of screenings and educational workshops. In its 15-year history, the Festival has achieved recognition as a world-class film festival. Each year, filmmakers come together with film-loving audiences to participate in this inspiring celebration of the power of independent film. This year’s 16th Annual Sedona International Film Festival “Real Magic”, taking place February 21 – 28, 2010, promises to be one of the best yet. Below are some of the highlights of this year’s festival.

  • Appearances by Oscar-winning documentary director Michael Moore and screening of three of his films
  • Turner Classic Movies’ host Robert Osborne returns with three classic films
  • Aiden Quinn’s “A Shine of Rainbows” as the opening-night film
  • “Another Harvest Moon,” featuring an all-star cast of Ernest Borgnine, Richard Schiff, Piper Laurie, Doris Roberts, Cybill Shepherd and Anne Meara.

  • “Waking Sleeping Beauty,” a documentary about the inner workings and conflicts at Disney during the Michael Eisner years with an appearance in Sedona by director/producer Don Hahn.
