The most Unique Adventure in Arizona!

Sedona Adventure Tours and Out of Africa Wildlife Park team up to bring you the Wet and Wild combination tour, the most unique adventure in Arizona!

You may be visiting Arizona, but you’ll feel like you’re in Africa, gliding down the Verde River in your own inflatable ducky kayak, and surrounded by the lush vegetation of this high desert oasis. After the “Wet” side of your adventure you’ll be off to experience the “Wild” side, at Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Here you’ll witness some of the world’s most exotic free roaming animals from your own safari vehicle, and also have the chance to check out the predator-and-play relationship of a Bengal and Siberian tiger(s) in the renowned “Tiger Splash” show!

Your Out of Africa experience does not have to happen on the same day as your Verde River Trip on the “Wet and Wild” package. You may use your tickets to the park anytime.

Total time on the river part of “Wet and Wild” is approximately 4 hours, from the time you check in, ride the shuttle to the river, go on your river adventure and arrive back at the Adventure Center. Total time on the river is 2 to 2.5 hours covering about 5 miles. You have the rest of the afternoon to spend at Out of Africa. The park closes at 5:00 pm Monday through Sunday.

If you plan on doing both parts of the tour in one you will need to kayak down the Verde river first on the 9:00 AM river trip which back at the Adventure Center at approximately 12:00. Out of Africa is about a 15 minutes drive from the Adventure Center.

Drawing on never-before-seen personal papers, diaries and letters, Liz Garbus works with acclaimed actresses to evoke the multiple aspects of the real Marilyn — passion, ambition, soul-searching, power and fear — in an absorbing and astonishing portrait.

  • “3 Geezers!”
    Enjoy the new comedy “3 Geezers!” in Sedona the same day it premieres in Los Angeles and New York! The film opens on May 22, and Sedona is in on the premiere event, including a Skyped Q&A with the filmmakers! Follow actor J Kimball (J.K. Simmons) as he researches what it’s like to be old for a role in an upcoming movie. When he meets the residents at The Coconuts Convalescent Home, he quickly discovers that his perceptions of the elderly may be off from reality. After being on the wrong end of some pranks, J enlists the help of his Hollywood friends to turn the tides. Mayhem ensues.
