Recently I had family come to visit me in Sedona, Arizona. Though normally they would stay with me, it was their anniversary and I wanted to treat them to their own little getaway in Sedona. I booked a weekend for them at Casa Sedona Bed and Breakfast located at 55 Hozoni Drive in Sedona. When I was booking my brother’s getaway I thought of that particular B&B because I remembered seeing it on the Travel Channel’s “Best of the Best” series! I was a little worried that due to the popularity of the Casa Sedona it might be too pricey for me. I had nothing to worry about, they offer seasonal specials and some pretty cool vacation packages as well. I was able to take advantage of their Spring Special.
My only other concern was the food. My brother happens to be an Executive Chef in New York and he has been known to have a difficult pallet to please. Well, I am happy to report my brother was extremely happy with the mild Southwest breakfast, he loved their homemade breads along with the afternoon appetizers. I really did not see much of him, or my sister-in-law, that weekend. They spent a lot of time just relaxing in the B&B’s garden and taking hikes around chimney rock. It was so great to see how happy they both were as I drove them back to the airport in Phoenix. I couldn’t have found a better anniversary gift anywhere. So, if you are looking for a anniversary gift for loved ones, or you’re wanting to celebrate your anniversary in one of the prettiest places in the Southwest, give Casa Sedona a try. You won’t be disappointed and their summer special starts May31st!
