This Weeks Entertainment in Sedona, Arizona

June 25th – July 1st, 2012

Visit Sedona, Arizona this week and enjoy live music, comedy, cinema and Shakespeare! The Sedona International Film Festival kicks of this weeks entertainment line up today, May 25th, with “Cinema Under the Stars — Musicals Under the Moon” at Tequa featuring the three-time Golden Globe-nominated, rousing crowd-pleaser “Hairspray”.  Then starting on May 26th – 29th, both ‘Peace, Love and Misunderstanding’ & ‘Under African Skies’ will be showing at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. On Thursday, June 28th, Decker will be playing at Olde Sedona and on the 29th, Next to the Tracks will be rocking out! Shakespeare Sedona Summer Theater will be taking place at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts village on Friday the 29th, and on Sunday the 30th, catch some laughs at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre when Studilo Live Sedona presents Comedy Zone and the Sedona Film Festival presents National Theatre of London:’One Man, Two Guvnors’.

This Weeks Lineup of Entertainment in Sedona, Arizona

June 19th – June 24th

Music, film Shakespeare and dance can all be found in Sedona, Arizona this week. The Sedona International Film Festival kicks of this weeks entertainment line up tomorrow, June 19th, with two must see films  “Saviors in the Night” & ‘”The Standbys”’ at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. On June 22nd, “Shakespeare Sedona Summer Theater”  kicks off in the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village featuring “MUCH ADO”, one of the most engaging and unlikely romantic couples in all of Shakespeare, Beatrice and Benedick. Studio Live Sedona  opens it doors to the world of dance on Friday, June 22nd with Dance Spirit, followed by AZ Blues Hall of Fame President Hans Olson on the 23rd and Scott Simon and Scott Schaefer aka Celestial Misfits will take center stage on Sunday June 24th. On Saturday, June 23rd, Tom Tayback and the Daddy O’s will be rocking out the house at Canyon Moon Theatre with the 50′s & 60′s Graffiti Gold Show.

Join Studio live Sedona in welcoming AZ Blues Hall of Fame President Hans Olson. HANS OLSON is a veteran performing musician with over 45 years in the music business. He began his career as a lead singer in a Rock & Roll band in Southern California in 1967. By 1970, Hans had developed a very unique and powerful solo act. He plays an amplified acoustic guitar and harmonica. He is known as one of the best “harp-in-a-rack” players in the world. Hans’ singing is very powerful. His voice is comfortable singing many styles of music ranging from mellow folk ballads to growling boogie blues. Hans’ songwriting is one of his most notable assets.
