Sedona International Film Festival
Outrageous comedy “Assisted Living: The Musical” performed LIVE !

“Assisted Living: The Musical” comes to Sedona when it is performed by its authors Rick Compton and Betsy Bennet, who are currently doing a national tour of the production. This outrageous, live theatrical event will be presented by the Sedona International Film Festival at its Mary D. Fisher Theatre. The show,subtitled “Sex, Drugs and Gettin’ Old,” delivers laughs from the opening scene. A newly-departed couple is greeted in the afterlife not by Elvis, but by Tiny Tim. The show romps through the “best years of their lives” at Pelican Roost, an active senior living community. The place oozes with characters who each have unique answers to later-life’s questions. Verde Canyon Railroad
Throw Mama on the Train

Throw Mama ON the Train and she’ll erase all of the naughty deeds you did as a child. Most importantly, each mother will have an afternoon to decompress from endless tasks and frantic schedules. We’ll make her a Bloody Mary so full of vegetables she can call it lunch and we’ll fluff the pillows as she sinks into our loveseat. The gentle swaying of our train is like a four-hour hug which she will relish while we indulge and pamper her with service that has made Verde Canyon Railroad famous for over two decades. Red Rock State Park
Guided Geology Hike

Spring is perfect to join an experienced guide who leads a hike focusing on the area’s geology. You will learn why the rocks are red, where they came from, where they are going, and more. The hike includes the Eagle’s Nest Trail for great views while also learning about the geology. More than a guided hike, it’s an interpretive experience for beginners as well as advanced geologists.
