“Wet and Wild” Combination Tour
The most Unique Adventure in Arizona!

Sedona Adventure Tours and Out of Africa Wildlife Park team up to bring you the Wet and Wild combination tour, the most unique adventure in Arizona!

You may be visiting Arizona, but you’ll feel like you’re in Africa, gliding down the Verde River in your own inflatable ducky kayak, and surrounded by the lush vegetation of this high desert oasis. After the “Wet” side of your adventure you’ll be off to experience the “Wild” side, at Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Here you’ll witness some of the world’s most exotic free roaming animals from your own safari vehicle, and also have the chance to check out the predator-and-play relationship of a Bengal and Siberian tiger(s) in the renowned “Tiger Splash” show!

Your Out of Africa experience does not have to happen on the same day as your Verde River Trip on the “Wet and Wild” package. You may use your tickets to the park anytime.

Total time on the river part of “Wet and Wild” is approximately 4 hours, from the time you check in, ride the shuttle to the river, go on your river adventure and arrive back at the Adventure Center. Total time on the river is 2 to 2.5 hours covering about 5 miles. You have the rest of the afternoon to spend at Out of Africa. The park closes at 5:00 pm Monday through Sunday.

If you plan on doing both parts of the tour in one you will need to kayak down the Verde river first on the 9:00 AM river trip which back at the Adventure Center at approximately 12:00. Out of Africa is about a 15 minutes drive from the Adventure Center.

Sedona Tours: Autumn Splendor on the Verde Canyon Railroad

Autumn Splendor and Ales on Rails
By:Verde Canyon Railroad

It’s a funny thing, the changing of seasons. Even the slightest variation in daytime temperatures and we are visiting pumpkin patches, planning harvest festivals and anxiously awaiting the official start of the fall season with cooler days and brisk nights. It is during this time of year that Mother Nature offers passengers aboard Verde Canyon Railroad’s Fall Colors Tour the rustle of vibrantly-colored leaves and the chance to breathe deep crisp, clean air. Fall is finally here and its grandeur won’t let you down.

Fall in the Verde Canyon wets your appetite for vibrant color and brews. Brilliant orange, magenta and gold seem to fall from the sky as leaves turn, shimmer and gently drift to earth along the crystal blue-green waters of the Verde River. The towering crimson canyon walls, with many interesting rock formations that have stood the test of time, stand sentinel over the indigenous flora and fauna below.
