Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Blazin’ M Ranch

 Looking for some Halloween fun  while you are visiting Sedona and the Verde River Valley? If you answered yes, we found an event for you. Don’t just settle for Jack-o-lanterns and candy corn again this Halloween season! Enjoy the sleuthing, spirituous atmosphere and side-splitting comedy when the Blazin’ M Ranch, a local favorite entertainment venue, presents their third in a series of themed Murder Mystery Dinner Shows, “Brews & Clues” on Sunday, October 28th.

This Halloween themed evening event will feature Blazin’ M’s signature BBQ ribs and chicken with all the fixins’ for dinner. The price of admission will also include a glass of wine, beer, or “spirited” beverage. Complimentary wine tasting provided by Arizona Stronghold Winery as well as beer tasting featuring brews by Quench/Hensley and Oak Creek Brewery will be available prior to dinner. Unique to this particular Murder Mystery event and true to the Halloween theme, a costume contest will also be held. Guests are invited (not required) to come in costume. Local VIP‘s will serve as judges and cash prizes will be awarded.

 Five of Sedona and the Verde Valley’s most acclaimed actors, singers and musicians return to the Blazin’ M stage for this one night production. This talented troupe will come together again portraying some sassy and spooky characters including, has-been talk-show host Batrina, mad scientist Dr. Frankenfarter, TV Producer Hector, Morbido, Vampira and even some unsuspecting audience members who could be questioned as suspects! During the Guilty Pleasures dessert service guests will be asked to vote for who they believe the culprit is. Prizes valued at over $500 will be awarded to the persons drawn from those who correctly guess the “Who Dun It?”

 A keepsake custom branded glass to hold the evening’s libations and “Menus for Murder” outlining the evening’s itinerary will be provided upon check-in at 5:00p.m. when the clue gathering begins. For more information on this cool Arizona Halloween event please visit the Blazin’ M Ranch.

The party starts at 11:00 am each day, when revelers gather on the depot’s patio to enjoy a wide selection of beer and Bavarian favorites such as brats, pretzels and strudel. Of course it wouldn’t be Ales on Rails without free-flowing beer and Verde Canyon Railroad serves only the finest. The Railroad invites Arizona breweries to showcase their rich-crafted ales, lagers, porters and stouts; an array of flavors to match the pageantry of color that waits in the Canyon. After the 1:00 pm departure, passengers relax in climate-controlled comfort as the train enters the Canyon bathed in autumn hues.

The Verde Canyon Railroad runs every day except Tuesdays. The depot is located in Clarkdale, 25 minutes from Sedona and two hours north of Phoenix, making Verde Canyon Railroad the perfect Arizona day trip. Wine Murder Mystery Dinner – Who’s Vine is it Anyway?

Mystery and mayhem will once again fill the barn this August 10th, 2012 when the Blazin’ M Ranch, a local  favorite entertainment venue in Cottonwood, Arizona, presents their second in a series of themed Murder Mystery Dinner Shows, Who’s Vine Is It Anyway?” This wine-themed evening event, featuring special complimentary wine tasting provided by Arizona Stronghold Winery is sure to be a side-splitting outlet for the investigative persona in all of us. The dinner will feature Blazin’ M’s signature BBQ chicken and ribs with all the fixins’ and the price of admission will include a glass of wine (beer or spirits for the non-wine enthusiast). As guests enter the dining queue they will “witness” some interactive scenes that provide clues to help them guess the cold-blooded culprit of the night.
