Geology Hike

thumbnailCAM2QLQ9Join a volunteer on a guided geology hike through Red Rock State Park. You will learn why the rocks are red, where they came from, where they are going, and more. This hike includes the Eagle’s Nest Trail for a great view of the Park and surrounding area. The hike lasts for 2 to 2 ½ hours and has a 250 feet elevation climb. Monday at the Museum

Jordanhouse Mondays at the Sedona Heritage Museum features talented craftsmen who are willing to share their skills. Many of which are not practiced frequently these days. This Monday the event will feature woodcarvers and is free to the public. Every Monday, the Museum present either a demonstration (you watch & ask questions) or a workshop (YOU do the work – with instruction). Some are free, some they have to charge a small fee to cover the cost of supplies. There is always fun to be had! Moonlight Hikes

Red Rock State Park welcomes you participate in a special moonlight hike. Moonlight Hikes include a naturalist-led interpretive program on the Park’s beautiful trails.
