Red Rock State Park – Earth Day/Birthday Celebration
April 16th (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
The Benefactors of Red Rock State Park invite you to kick off celebrating the Park’s 20th year with an Earth Day/Birthday Celebration! For 20 years now this beautiful 286-acre park near Sedona has served as an Environmental Education Center, as conservation area of 1.4 miles of precious unspoiled Oak Creek flood plain, and as a beautiful hiking area of 5 miles of safe, well-kept trails with spectacular vistas of the Creek and the famous Sedona Red Rock Country. Enjoy a family fun filled day of indoor and outdoor activities, guided hikes, wildflower walks, food, activities for children, music, food, silent auction and much more at Red Rock State Park! Make sure to bring your camera, you will not want to miss out on some great shots! The entrance fee for the park is only $10 per car (up to four people; sorry, no pets allowed). Posse Grounds Park - Earth Day Celebration and Concert in the Park
April 16th (11:00 am – 2:00 pm) Free Sedona Event
Earth Day Celebration and Concert is a free signature event brought to you by the City of Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation. This event will take place at Posse Grounds Multi-use field. There will be interesting and informative vendors on site whose primary goals and/or organizational focus is environmental education, preservation, sustainability, green living or healthy lifestyles. Live music performance by Aces n Eights will begin at 11:00 am so bring a blanket and enjoy some relaxing time on the grass out in the sunshine.
