Tonight in Sedona
Extraordinary night of music, film and fun!
You do not want to miss the Sedona event “Cinema Under the Stars”. “This promises to be an extraordinary night of music, film and fun as we celebrate fall with the final of our ‘Cinema under the Stars’ events for this season,” said festival director Patrick Schweiss.
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the last of this years “Cinema Under the Stars” at Tequa marketplace tonight, September 23rd, featuring the exclusive Arizona premiere of the award-winning, inspiring comedy “The Trotsky”. Seventeen-year-old Montreal high school student Leon Bronstein (Jay Baruchel) is The Trotsky: the self-proclaimed reincarnation of early 20th century Soviet iconoclast and Red Army hero, Leon Trotsky.
The event will kick off with a live concert performance by Chris Spheeris, Suzie Schomaker and friends at 6:00 pm. Come early, bring lawn chairs and blankets … and enjoy the sounds of these renowned performers! The film will follow the concert at approximately 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $12, $6 for students under 18, or $9 for Film Sedona members, and will be available starting at Tequa beginning at 5:00 pm tonight. Cash or checks only. Film Sedona members can purchase tickets in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office, located at 1785 West Highway 89A, Suite 2B.
