Fisher Theatre this week for the very special Sedona event: “Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y” featuring Madeleine Albright on May 3rd 2012, and the Northern Arizona premiers of “Bullied to Silence” & “The Kid with a Bike” showing from May 1st through 4th.
Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y — Madeleine Albright
New York’s famous 92nd Street Y comes to Sedona on Thursday, May 3rd when the Sedona International Film Festival hosts the live simulcast of an evening with Madeleine Albright. The special event will take at place at the festival’s new Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Now in its ninth year, “Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y” brings the world’s most compelling people to over 50 cities across North America via a unique live, interactive satellite broadcast program. The Sedona Film Festival is the official host of program in Northern Arizona. On May 3, “Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y” presents Madeleine Albright. In her new and most personal book, Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948, Albright looks at her family’s experiences during this tumultuous time in history before, during and after World War II.In this conversation, hear Albright’s story along with her interviews with contemporaries and newly available documents about the enormously complex events that took place.
