Sedona is a beautiful wedding location.
Take advantage of it!
That means either get married outdoors, among the awesome red rocks, or in a church or other location with a view. There aren’t too many of the latter, but a good wedding planner should be able to help you find one.
Generally, Sedona’s natural beauty comes in two different flavors – the red rocks (naturally!) but also the lush green environment of Oak Creek. The red rock locations are great when the weather is mild, such as the spring and the fall, and when things start to heat up a little for the summer, you may opt for the cool, green riparian environment of the creek. It’s one of the things that makes Sedona unique.
There are a couple of locations that actually combine both types of natural beauty. Red Rock Crossing (officially Crescent Moon Park) is one of those, as is L’Auberge de Sedona, a beautiful resort on the creek which also has stunning red rock views.
The other option is to get married in one of Sedona’s unique hideaways, such as the Tlaquepaque Chapel (suitable for up to 40 people). This authentic Spanish style chapel is a beautiful place to have your ceremony.
