SAV -What makes your ranch ideal for the bride & groom that are looking to add a western flair to their special day?
Peggy – We are a real, working cattle ranch with lots of wide open spaces and almost unlimited options. We are also close to Sedona for first-class wedding vendors such as photographers, bakeries, etc.
SAV- What exactly is an “Old Fashioned Western Wedding”?
Peggy -An old fashioned western wedding incorporates horses and at least a touch of western dress/attire. We had one small wedding where all of the guests were horseback witnessing the ceremony, but I would say more often we provide wagons and carriages for transportation around the ranch. It is perhaps more common for the bride to wear traditional dress and the groom to wear western, but there are some very interesting options for the bride at Victorian Cowgirl in Sedona.
SAV – Are most Western Weddings held outdoors? What if the weather does not coroporate on the wedding day?
Peggy – Western weddings are almost always outdoors. But of course we want to be prepared for bad weather, and we do have a covered ramada (very large patio) which can be fitted with heaters or coolers if necessary, and a large rented wedding tent can be added or used instead. We have a very, very large lighted arena which can be used in a variety of ways for a large wedding, or a nighttime wedding.
SAV – If a couple decides that your ranch is the perfect place for their wedding, what exactly do you provide? And do you have packages that incorporate their special day along with rehearsal dinner & their reception following the wedding?
Peggy – We are completely custom and individualized, so packages are designed with the couple, and/or their wedding planner, to provide exactly what they want and need.
SAV- What can the soon to be married couple expect if they have their rehearsal dinner or wedding reception at the ranch?
