Guided Bird Walk
Meet up with other bird lovers at the visitors center(9:00 am) and enjoy a leisurely stroll through one of the most popular parks in Northern Arizona . Bird enthusiasts can join a naturalist for a “Guided Bird Walk”. Beginning as well as advanced birders are welcome. Rangers recommend that visitors being their own binoculars. Tiger Splash
You’ll “oooh and aaah” while Bengal and Siberian tigers and other big cats interact in a predator/prey relationship of romping and splashing in a 35-foot by 50-foot pool as they play with their caretakers and various colorful toys. This unique, thrilling, and exciting show is also very educational. Through the live narration, you’ll discover how instincts, intellect and feelings interact to form spontaneous, natural behavior. Show time: 1:15 to 1:45 pm Monday through Sunday. Plan to arrive at the Park 30 minutes before any show in order to make it to the venue on time. “Ranch Rendezvous”
The evening “Ranch Rendezvous” starts with a trail ride and then a horse-drawn wagon ride to “The Sedona Lookout” where you will be treated to a cowboy cookout and live entertainment. You’ll sing along with Alvie Self, a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, and his acoustic guitar and fiddle. He’ll sing you some cowboy songs and play your requests. The supper menu features mesquite grilled steak, cowboy beans, vegetable, cornbread, salad, and Dutch oven cobbler accompanied by iced tea, lemonade and water. “Ranch Rendezvous” takes place on Monday-Wendsday-Friday& Saturday.
