An evening out sometimes is dinner at one place and live entertainment and drinks at another. Sound Bites Grill located in uptown Sedona has combined the two! A unique music themed restaurant which is being tagged as an upscale Hard Rock Café with a twist of the House of Blues offers a great night out. On Saturday June 7th from 8-11pm they have added a fun dance band, Sir Harrison and the Blues Kings to your evening.
The band leader Harrison Begay was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, is full blooded Navajo (Dine’). His passion for blues music and the guitar have been the driving force in his quest for artistry.
Sir Harrison’s music and stage performance has attracted a broad audience. His guitar playing is straight from the soul. He’s been compared to Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Cray, but Sir Harrison’s guitar playing has his own unique sound. His current band, “Sir Harrison and the Blues Kings,” was formed in 2004 in Flagstaff, Arizona. It’s smooth, funky, rock-in and a whole lot of blues power. Sir Harrison is known for getting you on the dance floor.
As a result, his fans are a diverse crowd, spanning generations, cultures, and ethnicity, their common ground being that they are all astute music lovers grateful to have Sir Harrison in their local music scene. The Blues Kings perform all over Scottsdale, Phoenix, Prescott and Northern Arizona.
